  国际体育科学与体育教育理事会(ICSSPE)在线杂志特刊征稿。日前,理事会发来征稿函,现将原文张贴如下:

Dear colleagues,

The next edition of ICSSPE’s online journal contains a Special Feature on Global Perspectives on Front Line Care for Mild Traumatic Brain Injury in Sport (MTBI).

The Special Feature will be edited by Carl Cramer (Barry University, US) and encompasses the following subheadings:

Baseline intake assessment techniques; Injury assessment and reassessment protocol; Return to play protocol; National association and/or International Federation position statement on care for MTBI in Sport; National scholars writing on care for MTBI in sport since 2010; National impact of MTBI in youth sport; and National impact of MTBI in sport for the disabled.

Potential contributors are asked to consider the following formal requirements:

1)     Around 3000-3500 words (electronic format only).

2)     An Abstract at the beginning, summarising the following article.

3)     APA formatted and referenced.

4)    Graphs, Photos etc. are always welcome but have to be in high quality.

5)    Name, title and contact address (plus e-mail) of the author at the end of the article, the name also once under the title at the beginning.

The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2014.

 

Information on the editor

Prof. Dr. Cramer has taught, researched and served in the field of athletic training for more than thirty-five years. He is considered an authority on athletic training academic program structure and content. He has served in many practice settings and event venues. These include professional, Olympic and NCAA post-season competitions. He has served the profession in many leadership capacities involving accreditation of entry-level athletic training education since 1997. He was ordained a Deacon for the Archdiocese of Miami in June, 2005 and assigned to St. Edward Parish in Pembroke Pines, FL. He also assists with Campus Ministry liturgical celebrations in Cor Jesu Chapel at Barry. He resides in Miramar with Vicki, his spouse of over 25 years, and has three children and three grandchildren. Dr. Cramer is currently researching changes in spirituality among college student-athletes as part of a five-year longitudinal study and is investigating the effects of spirituality on physical healing after sport-related injury and on the experiential development of mindfulness in sport, science and recreation among the School of HPLS student population at Barry University. He is presently serving as a member of the Editorial Board for the International Council for Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE) and is developing a sustainable coach education program and resource development plan for the APPESNO Multisport Camp in Milot, Haiti. Prof. Dr. Cramer earned his BA from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1976, M.Ed. from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 1982, and Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University in 1990. He served on the sports medicine staff as assistant athletic trainer from 1982-1985 and director of sports medicine at KSU from 1985 until coming to join the Barry University community in 1990. He founded the first NATA approved undergraduate program in athletic training in the state of Kansas at KSU in 1989 and the first CAHEA/CAAHEP/ CAATE accredited undergraduate program in athletic training in Florida at Barry University in 1993.

 

In addition, ICSSPE invites to contribute to the Current Issue Section of the Bulletin. This section provides a platform to inform readers all over the globe about current research and teaching activities, conferences and events, as well as publications and reports. 

The articles should meet the following requirements:

1)     Around 1500-2500 words (electronic format only).

2)     An Abstract at the beginning, summarising the following article.

3)     APA formatted and referenced.

4)    Graphs, Photos etc. are always welcome but have to be in high quality.

5)    Name, title and contact address (plus e-mail) of the author at the end of the article, the name also once under the title at the beginning.
